Babylon Lindenhurst NY 1888 Maps with Homeowners Names Shown

This is a 3 map set which shows where many of the homeowners resided in the town of Babylon, Babylon Township, Suffolk County, New York in 1888. These fine maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Babylon. Due to large areas covered by the maps, many of the names of the homeowners are quite small. The first map shows the entire township of Babylon and also contains a small inset map of Oak and Captree Islands. The second map shows the Village of Babylon. The third map contains a section of Lindenhurst (was Breslau). Truly a great matching set. It's hard to make out the specifics from my poor pictures however it's clearly detailed on the actual maps!
Some of the surnames which are printed are De Forest, Hepburn, Reid, Carll, Oakley, Ireland, Hendrickson, Kingsland, Taylor, Foster and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
