This is a 2 map set which shows where many of the homeowners resided in the Towns of Deer Park & Commac, Suffolk County, New York in 1873. These fine maps were recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat.

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of
Deer Park & Commac
. Due to large areas covered by the maps, many of the names of the homeowners are quite small. The first map shows the Sections of Huntington and Babylon which include the Villages of
Deer Park & Commac. There is also a small inset map of the business section of Commac.
The second map shows a much larger area which includes
Deer Park & Commac and the many surrounding towns and villages.

Truly a great matching set. It's hard to make out the specifics from my poor picture however it's clearly detailed on the actual maps! Some of the surnames which are printed are Squires, Smith, Fields, Bartlett, Gardner, Mayhew, Burr, Whitman, Brown, Brush, Hall, Hart, Williams, Lewis and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, named streets, railroads, churches, cemeteries and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything!
