This is a  2 map set of the town of Somers & Ellington, CT from 1874. This map set was recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame.
The pictures provided only show portions of the actual maps!

Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the town of Somers. It's hard to make out the specifics from my scanned picture, however it is indeed crystal clear on the actual maps!   Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the maps may not be shown.  Please check out the pictures provided for greater detail!
The first map (which is partially shown)  is that of the town of Somers. This map shows the homesteads and farms with the owners named and also shows the villages of North Somers and Somersville.
The second map contains 4 inset maps of the villages of Somers Street, Somersville Center, Ellington Center and Ellington Town which shows the many homeowners and business owners. The 3rd map shows the topography of most of the towns of Somers, Ellington and other neighboring towns.
Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Billings, Arnold, Hurlburt, Spencer, Webster, Newton, Schofield, Smith and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the map are schools, named streets, railroads and rivers/streams.
It would indeed make quite a conversation pie
