Description
Up for auction are two ¼ fl oz Travel Atomizers by Hèrmes for Calèche Parfum in Faux Tortoise shell cases with their own box.  Calèche was introduced in 1961 as Hermes first fragrance for women.  I found on the web that this fragrance has been described as a very feminine, woody, chypre floral and its name refers to the horse drawn carriages that are symbolic of the House.
Faux brown velvet box:
Although not in perfect condition, considering the age, this box is still a beautiful example of luxury.
Corners are a little worn, underside has a few scratches due to wear/use, but inside box is immaculate with the white silky fabric that the atomizer lays in.
This atomizer is a little smaller in dimension than the 2
nd
atomizer.  And its design is a much more beautiful rendition of the faux tortoise shell design.
This atomizer also has the horse drawn carriage on the top of the atomizer over cap.
The atomizer comes apart easily, and you can see there is very little fragrance remaining.
As mentioned in the title, this contains ¼ fl oz
I found an advertisement that shows this presentation was introduced in 1963.
Fragrance is not guaranteed due to the age, selling this for the box and atomizer
Height of atomizer is just under 3 5/8 inches
Yellow Papered box:
This box only opens partially.  I was able to remove the atomizer, but for some reason, the box does not open all the way, and I will leave new owner to figure this out.
The base of this box is a light beige plastic, the top of the box is either a plastic or cardboard papered in the yellow paper with the name Calèche, and the horse drawn carriage at the top of the box
This atomizer appears to be to be more of a brownish coloration with some subtle colorations of the faux tortoiseshell.
The bottle has about ½ of the fragrance remaining.  I thought it smelled good.  Atomizer works ok, just a little drizzle came out when I pushed, but I did not want a lot to come since I only wanted to sample fragrance.
Over cap of the atomizer has the word Calèche written in script.  Over cap comes on and off easily.
Height of atomizer is just under 3 ¾ inches
Also included with this item is a Hermes paper showing this item is rechargeable
