Vintage Schiaparelli Shocking Eau de Cologne Perfume Bottle
Shocking de Schiaperelli became available in cologne concentration by 1938 and was originally presented in a bottle that was a version of the dressmaker dummy bottle. This torso hourglass bottle was designed based on the old actress Mae West's dressmaker dummy. The bottom of this perfume bottle is embossed and reads:
PARFUMS
SCHIAPERELLI  SDA NY 1889  4 FL. OZ.
This bottle of "Shocking" Eau de Cologne bottle stands 5" tall and is approximately 1/2 full of fragrance. This dressmaker dummy style bottle has a pink screw on cap and the iconic Schiaperelli label on front. The glass perfume bottle is in excellent vintage condition. The label is slightly worn around the edges, as shown above, but the color and lettering are very clear. Great old Schiaparelli cologne bottle in the dressmaker dummy/torso hourglass shape to display on your vanity or in your perfume bottle collection!
